Matthew Consky
Matt graduated from Queen's University Law School in 2002 and was called to the Ontario bar in 2004, after spending a year living abroad in Australia. Matt's practice concentrates on plaintiff-side insurance litigation, including pain and suffering, accident benefit, Canada Pension Plan and long term disability claims, along with wrongful dismissal/employment law matters.
Matt has appeared at the Ontario Superior Court on several jury trials and regularly attends on motions and applications. He has also attended at the Appeal division of the Financial Services Commission of Ontario as well as all levels of the Canada Pension Plan Tribunal.
Matt is a member of the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association and the Ontario Bar Association.
When not practicing law, Matt is an avid traveler, preferring to strap on a backpack and get himself lost in foreign countries where he doesn't speak the language. His passion for British humour does nothing to improve his own sense of humour, but since he also enjoys hiking and snowshoeing in the Great Outdoors, casualties are (thankfully) kept to a minimum.
