Michael Rubin
Associate
Michael completed his undergraduate degree in Physics at the University of Western Ontario in 1999, and graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2002. Michael articled at a mid-size full-service firm and was called to the bar on July 17, 2003.
Since his call to the Bar, Michael has practiced extensively (and almost exclusively) in the area of civil litigation. In the course of his practice, Michael has represented clients before the Divisional Court, Superior Court of Justice, and various administrative tribunals, including the Financial Services Commission of Ontario, the Workplace Safety & Insurance Board, and the Canada Pension Plan Appeals Tribunal.
With his physics background, legal experience, and pragmatic approach, Michael understands that every plaintiff is affected differently by an accident, no matter how similar the accidents or injuries may appear on the surface. Michael strives to provide every plaintiff with the individualized and personal attention and care that they require and deserve.
Outside the office, Michael is a proud husband and father, an avid player of strategy games, a terrible (but entertaining) golfer, and a stunning conversationalist (also humble, if he does say so himself).
