Miera Maresky received her Juris Doctor from the Faculty of Law at Western University, and she spent a year studying at Osgoode Hall Law School. Over the course of her studies, Miera volunteered at the Advocacy Centre for the Elderly where she conducted extensive research on legal capacity and elder abuse issues, and co-authored an article that was published in The Lawyer’s Daily. While at Western Law, Miera participated in the Lerner’s Cup, where she was formally recognized for her strong advocacy skills. Miera is dedicated to helping members of the community, having been an active member of Western Law’s Community Outreach Committee and a long-standing volunteer at Baycrest Hospital.
